Lil Wayne – “Prom Queen”
This guy never quits. With all of the hype and hate surrounding Lil Wayne and the music industry these days, it’s hard to believe that people actually get on this guy’s ass because he is THE hardest worker in the music industry. Sure he might seem cocky, and yes he pushes every musical boundary like the great Louis Vuitton Don himself, but you gotta get some respect to a guy that is the very best at what he does. With all of the glory of The Carter III (See my previous posts for a full album review!), Lil Wayne is at it again, only this time taking over the rock world. Wayne promised a re-issue of The Carter III sometime in 2009, only loaded with completely new songs. What the official word on that project is, I don’t know. What I do know is that tonight at 9:30PM EST he is premiering his new single “Prom Queen” and showing the world what he is about to do next. NOTE: Yes I do have a CDQ copy of the song already, even though it has not be “released” yet. My treat to you
